Stranded: A Story in Pictures

Last weekend, for reasons too complicated to explain, I spent an hour and a half stranded on a wooded island on a lake in Wisconsin. I had few provisions...a beach towel, a boat cushion, half a beer, an iPhone and a Kindle. I learned a lot about myself during my time on the island and now I understand why Tom Hanks talked to that volleyball in the movie Cast Away.
