Milestones
First smile…first tooth…first steps…first haircut…first forged note from a teacher…

Miguel had been asking to bring a soccer ball to school. I told him that he could take a ball to school when I saw a note from his teachers that said it was o.k. to do so. Rather than actually ask his teachers, he decided to write the note himself.
When I received the note, I complimented him on his beautiful cursive and he said, “Well, I had to do my best so that the writing would look like Mrs. Raasch’s. She has very nice writing”. Yes, Mrs. Raasch does have beautiful handwriting. From now on, however, we will be calling her Ulisabith.

“This too shall pass”, Vikki & Louisa – it is creative and he is determined and when he is a Soccer Star, this note will yield a lot of cash from a story in Sports Illustrated!!

Ms. Melom can write upside-down on a chalkboard set on her lap, with the front facing away from her toward the children. I will make sure Miguel has that lesson before he forges a note from her.
Love, Ulisabith

That is too funny. What grade is he in? He does have nice cursive. My son spells like that too. I always have fun decoding.

Madame Zoe, I know this won’t be the first time he has been to see you and I am starting to get the impression that it might not be the last. ha ha.

Oh my god. This is so funny. It’s a good thing that I went to the bathroom recently. Does this go along with the paint-trying-to-be-blood incident? I can only imagine him at age 14.

Nina – Does this make it less likely that you will let Jack hang out with him?

Wow, that’s amazing cursive for a 5 year old! I can’t even get my 11 year old to write that well
